A Facelift
The site's been up about a month and a half now, and I'm mostly pleased with how it's been shaping up; but something about the design wasn't really sitting well with me. It was a nice enough design, to be sure, but I kept hearing from various people that their first impression was of an architecture firm, or a consultant. I eventually realized that it looked good without expressing anything about what Metropolis is about. So, I started working on a revised design, but eventually ended up scrapping the old look completely and replacing it with the current one. I think it's a marked improvement; however, there's bound to be some spots where it could be improved, so let me know what you think!

Comments have been pretty scarce since moving off Simtropolis. Maybe reallowing anonymous comments will help?

True... I expected that to some degree, with less spillover traffic coming from the main Simtropolis site. That's not a bad idea, though, maybe I'll give it a try, at least for the articles.
